Select Achievements for Clients in the Water and Natural Resources Sector:

PACE identified an incongruity in federal law resulting in our client being uncompetitive for the WaterSMART program. Working with the Bureau of Reclamation, and the Senate Energy and House Natural Resources Committees, PACE crafted targeted reforms to the program to ensure that historically disadvantaged communities could secure ample resources from the program. After the change was enacted, our client received four grants in the next three years, improving efficiency and creating significant water savings for the system.

When our client expressed concern with the management of a large Army Corps asset, PACE coordinated with other jurisdictions served by the project to begin the process of transferring maintenance responsibilities to the local partners. Although the process is still on going, initial results clearly indicate that the arrangement will benefit both the Corps and the local partners and ensure that both can focus on their core competencies.
